We’re slowly waking up from our slumber between the seasons, and we have some news that we hope you’ll like as much as we do. The CS:GO cups are open for applications, and you can start preparing your team right now!
First things first, though. As we’ve already mentioned in our season announcement a few days back, we’re coming in strong with the qualifiers this year. Because we’ve switched things up a bit, we must remind you that the CS:GO qualifiers will be held first, and LoL online qualifiers will start as soon as CS:GO ends.
There will be 4 rounds of CS:GO qualifiers, starting on the 21st of April this year, with applications being open until that day. The qualifiers will be held every week, and four teams from every round will advance to the double elimination groups, with an extra wildcard qualifier after the groups. The dates are as follows:
Remember, 4 teams will advance to the qualification groups after each round of online qualifiers, so you don’t have to be first to secure the spot in the next round!
Apart from the dates and the format, the style of the competition will be the same as last year. Players are required to play with ESL Wire and will be competing in BO1 (single elimination) matches in this round of qualifiers. You can sign up with your team right away, and we wish you the best of luck! Detailed rules can be checked out on the official cup site.
